MMIWG2S Alaska Working Group

We have a right to be free from violence, in our own homes and communities.

Our Mission:

To use shared communications, strategy, actions, and community building to address the MMIWG2S crisis in our state together.

Our Agreement:

Our working group’s response is led by our communities’ needs. We aim to take up the work that far too many families continue to carry alone. Our strategy moving forward is to grow in our current work while putting resources into these three key areas:

  • Creating New Pathways

  • Community Outreach

  • Initiate Action
